POST offers a variety of activities for people to engage with nature and experience the land.

Our annual Wallace Stegner Lecture Series features prominent thinkers, writers and explorers who share provocative ideas about the environment and humankind's relationship with the natural world. We also encourage individuals to explore those POST-protected properties that are open and accessible to the public. Whether you choose to hike over the crest of a ridge or take a leisurely Sunday drive, you're bound to get a taste of the rural splendors that surround you. We invite you to take advantage of these opportunities to encounter nature up close.
