Congratulations to the Winners of POST's 2011
Get Out on the Land Photo Contest!

We're pleased to announce the winners of POST's amateur photo contest. As it turns out, without even knowing it, we ended up selecting two winning entries from a husband-and-wife pair from Morgan Hill, Calif.

Grand prize goes to Kyrod Myatt, who captured the drama and majesty of POST-protected Rancho Cañada del Oro Open Space Preserve in south San Jose.

We also couldn't resist runner-up Jynelle LaPointe's spectacular close-up of a Checkerspot butterfly, also taken at Rancho Cañada del Oro.
