POST has a long and productive history of leveraging donor dollars and working with private organizations and government agencies to protect open spaces—collaborations that provide funding critical to the success of our mission.
Through these partnerships, public- and private-sector players accomplish much more toward conserving open space than either could achieve alone.
Donor contributions are crucial to the success of POST's public/private partnerships. They enable us to act quickly when critical properties become available. They leverage matching funds from public agencies, enabling us to recoup the costs of purchasing these lands. And they continually replenish our land acquisition fund, providing us with the working capital to save land in the future.
